The course qualifies you to dive with a buddy & independent of supervision, to a maximum depth of 20m, in conditions similar to or better than those in which you learned.
Our course runs over a monthly rotation:
The course dates are planned for Sunday afternoons for confined water training, and a full weekend for open water qualification work.
- Theory is studied in your own time at home, with class sessions available online or in-person by arrangement.
- Confined water sessions are spent learning new skills in a pool environment.
- The last weekend of the month is spent putting those theories and skills into practice in open water - location dependent upon conditions.

Human Factors in Diving: Level 2
The Human Factors in Diving (HFiD) course is an awesome course fro anyone interested in improving diver safety through better situational awareness, more effective communication and improved briefing and debriefing skills.
It also increases understanding of how to create a team quickly so that learning can be improved in the context of training, and for more effective exploration achieved in the context of ‘fun’ diving.
It is an eye opener of a weekend: challenging, thought provoking, and attention holding!
The course wil be taught by Lanny Vogel from Underworld Tulum. Lanny is an ex-naval officer and a technical cave instructor with two decades of experience, and teaches his courses with a human factors principle at heart.
While it is primarily aimed at divers, the course has been used effectively in various areas of human endeavour from healthcare & aviation, to F1 and wingsuit flying! So if you know someone who may be interested, please let them know.
Spaces will be limited to a maximum of six students, and so please contact us directly if you are interested in joining.

Bridport Harbour - West Bay

Ropes off time TBC both days from @bridport harbour DT6 4HE - See event discussion for map of harbour.
We will dive the Baygitano both days with a second dive tbc on the day, who knows it may even be the Baggy twice.
It’s a cracking dive as you can see from the photos on our page. So much life and colour, one not to miss!
Price is for diving only, no fills, equipment hire or accommodation are included, you must source your own.

Please note your space is not confirmed by saying you are going on the Facebook event.
Usual ts&cs apply must be suitably qualified and medically fit to dive. Must be comfortable using DSMB’s suitable for Uk sea diving. Once you have paid for your space, your space is confirmed and if you cancel we cannot refund unless you can fill your space. We will of course help to try and fill your space, but cannot guarantee it.

£85pp per day, this doesn't include air or half price nitrox though so air would be £10 per cylinder.
Also bear in mind/check your accomodation cancellation policy, if you have to cancel short notice due to diving cancelled you may not be able to get your hotel money back.

As soon as all the details are finalised I will send out to those that have registered interest, but please note spaces have not been confirmed and deposits must be received, you will need to have created a RAID profile and completed waivers and medical Questionnaire, provided proof of certifications relevant to the trip, in order to secure your space and this will be done on a first come first served basis.
Please note - if the trip is cancelled due to weather, you will not be eligible for a refund with Indeep they will provide a credit for an alternative trip. Please speak to us if you have any questions.

PREREQUISITES
Any trips will have minimum certification and/or experience requirements. Check the trip info or contact us for details.
All divers joining us must be medically fit to dive. We will need a copy of your up to date medical form. You can fill in the questionnaire via our online dive centre.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
Any completed forms we have requested unless they are online.
Any dive gear of your own that you are certified and competent in using.
We are able to hire out our tanks & equipment for you to use as long as you are certified to use it.
Local scuba diving in the sea requires that you are proficient in the use and deployment of SMBs, both from the surface and underwater.
