Do something Different – Try diving Sidemount!
Are you thinking about changing to a sidemount configuration? Maybe you are just interested to see what sidemount diving feels like! If so, then you should come to the pool and Try Sidemount with us!
The Try Sidemount program is aimed at divers with a little experience already, who are looking to try something new. You will go through some basic safety concepts, a little kit familiarity, and a few simple skills that may be a variation to what you already know. Then an instructor will demonstrate some skills underwater for you to try out. After that, you can swim around to get a feel for how comfortable sidemount diving can be!
Please note that while this is not a certification course, you can follow on from here with a RAID Sidemount Diver certification programme. You will already have gained a feel for the basics, and you will be learning with friends you already know who dive sidemount almost all the time!

DURATION
One session (introductory presentation and paperwork, followed by 1 hour diving in a pool).
PREREQUISITES
We prefer that you are certified to an advanced level with reasonably good bouyancy control, and you must be medically fit to dive.
