Scuba Diver
The RAID Scuba Diver course is a beginner level certification derived from the RAID Open Water 20 course and provides you with basic knowledge and the full experience of scuba diving and the underwater World. It introduces diving to those individuals with time constraints, and those interested in diving in groups and tours guided by a certified professional at all times.
It’s also a step towards the RAID Open Water 20 Diver certification. You’ll do some of the same theory, pool and open water work so that if you choose to continue on to that course you can complete it in less time. As a qualified Scuba Diver, you can dive to a maximum depth of 12m, with a certified Divemaster or Instructor as your buddy/guide.

DURATION
Online learning, with some of theory/practical presentations, and two confined sessions learning skills. One day putting all you have learnt into practice in open water.
PREREQUISITES
No previous diving experience is required, but you must be able to tread water for 10 minutes and swim 200mtrs.
You must be minimum of 15 years old (10 to 14 for the Junior cert) and medically fit to dive.
