Night & Limited Visibility Specialty

As the sun sets you don your dive gear, slip on your mask and pop your regulator in. You step off the boat and into the underwater version of night. Although the reef is one you know, in the dark it’s new and different. You watch octopus walk the seabed, lionfish hunt, or lobsters prowl. Night diving focuses your attention in a new way and opens up a whole new world by torchlight, that most don’t get the privilege to see. This is where the Night & Limited Visibility Diver Specialty helps you get to!

With Night & Limited Visibility Specialty training, you will learn the skills, problems and hazards of low vis and night dives, as well as communication, use of dive lights and buddy system techniques, disorientation and emergency procedures. You will also receive an orientation to nocturnal aquatic life. Once certified you can dive to your existing certification level, with an increased range to include diving at dusk, night or dawn. Your diving just became a 24 hour thing!
