Local Charters:
Rocket is a purpose built diving Sports Catamaran. She boasts a hydraulic powered divers lift ,a flybridge and fully walk around deck.
A local TV celebrity, Trevor Small has been working with the dive industry since the middle ages. He also does work with Bournemouth University, and survey projects, when he isnt being filmed.
Running on twin nine hundred bhp marine Iveco’s, Rocket is well disigned to accomodate up to 12 divers.
Team Rocket (Trevor and the ever lovely Sharon) operate out of Poole Harbour, and cover the Poole Bournemouth and Swanage area in general, and further afield for special projects.
Waverider is a Blyth 33 catamaran and is fully equipped with an array of the latest Simrad electronics inc. Bathymetric Imagery & 3D Sonar, with a hydraulic dive lift and a large covered area to shelter from the elements.
She is coded up to 60 miles for 12 persons plus crew and fully equipped including First Aid, AED & Oxygen, not forgetting Hot Chocolate, Tea & Coffee, along with our legendary hot Pasties (meat & vegetarian subject to availability)…
David, Debbie, and Ozzy are lovely to spend a diving day with. Their local knowledge is amazing, and and their hospitality never fails!

The problem with lost fishing gear is that just because it is lost, it doesn’t stop fishing. Animals are needlessly caught and killed by this Ghost Gear which then act as bait for other animals and so on.
Ghost Fishing is a registered charity with a mission to locate lost nets, pots and lines, and recover them. The recovery of lost gear also leads to it being recycled, either back into the fishing community, or into other sellable items. All while saving marine life!
If you find some ghost gear on a dive, you can report it on their website. You can also donate to the charity, shop recycled goods, and read a huge ammount of information about the various projects they are involved in.
