The RAID Advanced 35 course is more than just range extension. The course is designed to expand your diving experience, and train you in the safe use of scuba to a maximum depth of 35 meters with no decompression obligations, and whilst polishing the all-important core skills and introducing the concepts of diver rescue.
The course is more intensive than the Explorer 30 programme, and can be joined by divers with more than four hours logged in-water experience, and it comprises three confined water dives and six open water dives.
It will extend your depth range to 35 meters, with an emphasis on good planning and teamwork. It also touches on some basic rescue elements.
To certify as a RAID Advanced 35 Diver, you must complete three confined water, and six open water dives. Two of the open water dives are deep dives. There is also a navigation dive, a buoyancy check dive, a rescue dive, and one elective dive that you can choose with a little discussion with you instructor and dive team.
