Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty
Good buoyancy skills separate great divers from the good divers. Watch your instructor in the water, and you’ll notice how little effort they seem to need to hover and move around…it didn’t just happen, it takes some work. That’s Peak Performance Buoyancy, and it’s one of the more under-rated skill sets in recreational scuba. When your buoyancy is great, you use less energy and so less air – your dive can last longer and you are more relaxed and in control of your dive. You’ll also avoid damaging the aquatic life around you.
You’ll learn how to precisely weight yourself for optimum control and balance. Your training will also improve your streamlining, profile and trim in the water. And by doing so, you will be able to move through the water cleanly, efficiently and gracefully.

PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty
Two training dives can be completed over one day.
PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent certification. You must be minimum of 10 years old and medically fit to dive.
