Meet The Team

Lisa Wright

Lisa was introduced to diving in October 2005, virtually in love with being underwater, she is one of our most avid divers, having logged over 130 dives in her first year. Though warm water is favoured by most divers, Lisa learnt to dive in the UK in the middle of winter in six degrees, and is always keen to go diving all year round as long as there is something to see and the viz to see it!

After saying she would never go any further than Open Water Diver, Lisa was totally bitten by the bug, for not only diving but teaching aswell and became a Divemaster in Oct 2007.

Everyone kept telling her she was ready to be an instructor and in November 2009, she finally achieved her Open Water Scuba Instructor & EFR Instructor rating. You will find her most weekends teaching or helping out other Instructors and Divemasters with their courses, or coming up with the 'arty bits' for Dive South...she's our resident designer too!

Lisa is currently involved with a marine conservation research project in the Mexican Caribbean, and plans to return in the new year.
