Underwater Navigator

Underwater navigation is a much underrated skill. It saves you time and air, gives you greater confidence when diving new places and makes you a more competent diver and buddy. It can also improve your dive planning and enable you to spend more time looking at, rather than searching for, your chosen site!

You will learn the theory, skills, problems and hazards of underwater navigation, compass navigation techniques, methods of estimating distances underwater, natural navigation, using underwater patterns and dive site relocation techniques.

• 10 years old

• Duration
• A minimum of 3 dives which can be conducted over 1 day.

• Prerequisites
• You must be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver, Junior Open Water Diver or equivalent.
