Deep Diver

Deep diving is different. It gives you additional opportunities to see sights that other divers can't, but it also requires additional training and knowledge so you can conduct those dives safely. At Dive South we offer two options for divers interested in gaining experience and training for conducting deep dives using air.

PADI Deep Diver
The PADI Deep Diver program allows you to develop the skills, knowledge and techniques to safely participate in deep diving activities, to a maximum depth of 40m.

IANTD Deep Diver
The IANTD Deep Diver course introduces you to diving with air in the 20-39 meter range safely and comfortably, with an emphasis on using appropriate equipment and procedures to ensure redundancy and safety.
