Advanced Open Water Diver
The Advanced Open Water program provides you with the means to try new aspects of diving that interest you and extend your diving experience. It will also extend your diving range so you can begin to explore new sites. Participating in an adventure dive is often the first step new divers take after they are certified. The program is flexible and provides the opportunity for discovery and exploration. It allows you to customise your training path and learn various underwater tasks that are of interest to you.
To qualify as an Advanced Open Water diver you must complete five adventure dives. One must be a deep dive, which qualifies you to dive to 30m (or 21m if you’re aged 12 to 14 years) and another a navigation training dive. For the other 3 dives you can choose from the following options:
- Project AWARE - Fish ID
- Boat
- Drift
- Dry Suit
- Enriched Air Nitrox*
- Multilevel and Computer
- Night
- Peak Performance Bouyancy
